Customer Service Officer at an Undisclosed Bakery via Staffora Global Limited – Guzape, Abuja
A bakery outlet is recruiting a full-time Customer Service Officer in Guzape, Abuja, through Staffora Global Limited. The position combines customer service, order handling and basic product preparation while maintaining attractive presentation and appropriate hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Welcome walk-in customers, explain available products and take orders in person.
- Process orders accurately and coordinate their timely preparation and handover.
- Prepare and frost product boxes, package baked goods and make drinks for walk-in and collection orders.
- Print receipts and keep accurate records of customer transactions.
- Manage collection orders from confirmation through preparation and customer handover.
- Ensure that baked goods and other products are packaged and presented to the required standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and presentable outlet and service area.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the relevant team of shortages or low-stock items.
- Respond professionally to customer questions and complaints, referring difficult matters where needed.
- Follow food-handling, hygiene and safety procedures.
Requirements
- At least an SSCE; an OND or higher qualification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, food service, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic numeracy and the ability to handle customer payments and transaction records accurately.
- Willingness to learn food preparation, frosting, packaging and drink preparation.
- Attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage several orders independently.
- Neat appearance and a strong commitment to personal and food hygiene.
- A friendly, dependable and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to commute reliably to Asokoro, Abuja.
