Dental Nurse / Dental Surgery Assistant at Beaconhill Smile Group – Victoria Island, Lagos State

Beaconhill Smile Group is hiring a full-time Dental Nurse / Dental Surgery Assistant in Victoria Island, Lagos, to support dental clinicians and maintain patient-care standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with examinations and procedures, including chairside preparation and support.
• Prepare instruments, treatment rooms, dental materials and equipment.
• Maintain instrument sterilisation, infection prevention and clinical hygiene standards.
• Help patients prepare for treatment and understand aftercare instructions.
• Keep accurate clinical documentation and monitor dental supplies.

Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in Dental Nursing or Dental Surgery Assisting, or another recognised oral-healthcare qualification.
• Two to three years’ experience in a dental clinic, including current practical chairside assisting.
• Knowledge of dental materials, instruments, sterilisation and infection control.
• Professional registration or certification where applicable; Basic Life Support training is an advantage.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills and availability for extended hours and some weekends.
• Applicants with general nursing qualifications but no hands-on dental experience do not meet the practical experience requirement.
