E-Business Control Officer at Moniepoint Incorporated – Nigeria (Remote)

Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting a remote E-Business Control Officer in Nigeria for its Internal Control department, reporting to the Lead, E-Business Control. The role assesses risks and controls across electronic payment products, channels and transaction processing.

Digital control and assurance

• Design and implement testing of digital transaction flows, including loans, POS, mobile, web and API integrations.
• Maintain daily reconciliations and controls covering loans, card-switching systems, gateways and third-party processing.
• Assess payments, chargebacks, disputes, settlement balances, commission allocations and fee configurations.
• Review e-business application controls, access rights, authorisation settings and transaction limits.
• Identify deficiencies, investigate outages or unreconciled balances, and recommend sustainable corrections.
• Maintain remediation dashboards and monitor findings to closure.
• Partner with Product, Technology and Operations on controls for new digital services.
• Assess compliance with relevant payment standards, regulations and internal control frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Four to six years’ experience in internal control, electronic-channel audit or digital revenue assurance.
• Knowledge of payment processing, transaction reconciliations and digital-banking risks.
• Understanding of frameworks and standards including COSO, ISO 31000 or ISO 27001.
• Analytical ability, collaboration and communication skills.
• CISA, CRISC, CISM, ACA, ACCA or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
