Field Credit Officer at Moniepoint Incorporated – Osun State

Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting an on-site Field Credit Officer in Osun State on an outsourced employment basis. The position focuses on onboarding eligible businesses, growing a performing credit portfolio and managing repayment risk.

Key duties

• Identify businesses in the assigned area and support their onboarding to Moniepoint business accounts.
• Encourage suitable account use and assess customers for potential access to credit.
• Examine credit applications, financial information and the five Cs of credit, especially capacity, character and capital.
• Visit borrowers’ premises to evaluate business records, inventory, turnover and related information.
• Make informed lending recommendations and approve or decline requests within assigned authority.
• Maintain portfolio volume and profitability targets while monitoring credit performance and repayments.
• Work to minimise defaults through field assessments, regular customer engagement and sound risk analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum OND in a business-related discipline.
• At least two years’ experience selling credit products for a financial institution.
• Understanding of credit-risk assessment; financial analysis knowledge is advantageous.
• Sound attention to detail, numerical reasoning, communication, relationship management and persistence.
