General Manager – Commercial & Communication at Urban Crescent Furniture Limited – Lagos
Urban Crescent Furniture Limited is hiring a General Manager to lead its Commercial & Communications Division in Lagos, with executive responsibility for sales, customer experience, brand communications, quality assurance and business systems.
Commercial direction
- Define and deliver commercial growth, revenue and profitability strategies.
- Lead Sales, Customer Service and Business Development, including pricing, pipeline oversight and forecasting.
- Identify business expansion opportunities, distribution partnerships and new commercial channels.
Communications, quality and customer experience
- Direct public relations, brand positioning, media and digital campaigns, social content and email marketing.
- Maintain brand standards and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee customer retention, complaint resolution, quality control and adherence to approved product standards.
- Coordinate with operations on production and delivery commitments.
Executive oversight
- Lead managers and multi-disciplinary teams, develop departmental budgets and performance frameworks.
- Oversee effective use of CRM, reporting, billing and other systems; improve data quality and operating processes.
- Work with the GM, Operations & Resources and report performance, financial insights and strategic recommendations to the Founder and Managing Director.
Required experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Management or a related area.
- At least 10 years’ relevant work experience, including five years in senior or executive management.
- Experience leading several functions and delivering significant commercial results.
- Strong financial judgement, strategic decision-making, negotiation, communications and people leadership.
- Understanding of brand management, customer experience and digital business systems.
- Furniture, interiors, manufacturing or premium consumer-products experience is advantageous.
Remuneration
- Salary: ₦1,000,000 per month.
