Head of Pharmacy Department at Rayfield Medical Services Limited – Jos
Rayfield Medical Services Limited is recruiting a Head of Pharmacy Department in Jos, Plateau State, to lead safe and efficient pharmaceutical services across the hospital.
Role responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and day-to-day management for the Pharmacy Department.
- Ensure dispensing, medicine procurement and pharmaceutical services comply with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) requirements and hospital standards.
- Oversee medicine stock levels, inventory controls and cost-effective drug management.
- Supervise pharmacy personnel and maintain clear reporting and administrative processes.
- Promote patient safety, regulatory compliance and consistent service quality.
Qualifications and experience
- B.Pharm or Pharm.D from a recognised university.
- Current PCN registration and a valid practising licence.
- At least five years’ professional experience, including hospital supervisory experience.
- Proven ability in drug procurement, inventory management and pharmacy administration.
- Strong leadership, reporting and Microsoft Excel skills.
