Business Development Executive at a Construction & Renovation Company via Lopterra Services Limited – Ikeja, Lagos

An engineering, construction and renovation company in Ikeja, Lagos, is recruiting a full-time Business Development Executive through Lopterra Services Limited. The role focuses on winning new construction and renovation projects, expanding customer relationships and building a strong commercial pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, projects, markets and new business opportunities in construction and renovation.
• Research developers, property owners, architects, consultants, contractors and organisations requiring building services.
• Develop leads through professional networks, referrals, site visits, direct outreach, industry events and market research.
• Arrange client meetings and presentations, assess project requirements and support site visits.
• Prepare and present proposals, commercial presentations and quotations.
• Negotiate with prospective customers and follow up consistently to secure business.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and produce sales forecasts and progress reports.
• Monitor competitor activity and construction-market developments.
• Work with project and technical teams on client solutions, and identify repeat-business opportunities from existing accounts.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Three to five years’ relevant experience in construction, engineering, business development, sales or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in business-to-business sales, client acquisition or account management.
• Good understanding of the construction and renovation industry.
• Persuasive communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proactivity, target orientation and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CRM or business development tools.
• Willingness to travel to client meetings and project site visits.

Salary

₦350,000 per month.
