IT Change, Configuration & Release Manager at Heirs Technologies Limited – Lagos

Heirs Technologies Limited is hiring an IT Change, Configuration & Release Manager in Lagos to establish and continuously improve change enablement, service configuration and release management controls across technology services.

Change enablement

• Own change policy, governance workflows, change models and ITIL-aligned controls for standard, normal and emergency changes.
• Lead Change Advisory Board and emergency review processes, including decision records, approvals and follow-up.
• Maintain change schedules, freezes, dependencies, maintenance windows and customer communications.
• Check the business case, risk assessment, testing, security implications, implementation and back-out plans before production changes.
• Integrate appropriate approvals and records into DevOps and CI/CD workflows, detect unauthorised changes and coordinate post-implementation reviews.

Configuration and release management

• Set standards for configuration items, ownership, relationships, naming conventions and lifecycle controls.
• Implement and improve the configuration management database and reconcile inaccurate or missing records.
• Manage release models, integrated calendars and readiness checks across infrastructure, applications and customer environments.
• Coordinate go/no-go decisions and ensure releases have approved changes, testing evidence, deployment and rollback procedures, monitoring and support readiness.
• Work with DevOps on controlled promotion of versioned builds and coordinate early-life support for significant releases.

Governance and collaboration

• Develop required change, release and configuration plans, procedures, dashboards and management reports.
• Track success rates, failed or emergency changes, rollbacks, service stability and configuration data quality.
• Support audits, risk-based controls, root-cause improvement and ITIL 4 continual improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, information security, operations, service desk, product, clients and technical partners to protect service availability.
