Logistics & Customs Coordinator at an Undisclosed LNG Company via Benmaris Limited – Abuja (FCT)

An LNG company is recruiting a full-time contract Logistics & Customs Coordinator in Abuja through Benmaris Limited. The position covers international shipments, Nigerian customs processes and project-cargo delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a shipment tracker for vessel schedules, shipping documents, insurance, customs progress and delivery dates.
• Cross-check shipping and import records against purchase orders and equipment inventories.
• Coordinate shipping agents, customs brokers, freight forwarders, terminals and insurers to avoid cost and delay.
• Plan heavy-haul deliveries from ports to Ajaokuta, including route assessment, permits, escorts and contingencies.
• Coordinate unloading, receiving checks, damage reporting, shortfalls and secure storage.
• Track purchase-order expediting, long-lead equipment, spares and tools.
• Help prepare the LNG dispatch and customer-delivery logistics plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Five or more years’ Nigerian import logistics and customs clearance experience, ideally with heavy-lift or project cargo.
• Knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms, transport documentation and relevant third-party contractors.
• Accurate documentation, strong cost controls and anti-bribery compliance.
• Membership of CILT or a comparable professional body is advantageous.
