Hospital Administrator – ADF Surgical & Diagnostic Centre at Dangote Group – Kano, Kano State

Dangote Group is recruiting a Hospital Administrator for the Aliko Dangote Foundation Surgical & Diagnostic Centre at Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital in Kano. The role oversees the facility’s operational performance, patient services and stewardship of foundation-funded assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational setup and day-to-day administration of the Surgical & Diagnostic Centre.
• Coordinate patient flow, admissions and discharges, diagnostics, theatre activity and clinical support services.
• Manage facilities, medical devices, maintenance, asset records and hospital information systems.
• Maintain strong standards for service quality, patient safety, infection prevention and operational governance.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, inventory controls and financial reporting.
• Plan workforce requirements, monitor staff performance and coordinate training.
• Work with hospital management, the foundation, government stakeholders and service providers to support sustainable care.
• Provide clear operational and performance reports to relevant leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Health Management, Public Health, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field; postgraduate study is advantageous.
• At least ten years’ relevant experience, with five or more in senior hospital administration or operational leadership.
• Experience with hospital systems, diagnostic services, medical equipment, budgeting and healthcare facilities.
• Strong leadership, accountability, ethics, problem-solving, communication and patient-centred judgement.
