Marketer at Citizen’s Voice 97.1 FM – Victoria Island

Citizen’s Voice 97.1 FM is hiring a full-time Marketer in Victoria Island, Lagos, to develop advertising sales, sponsorships and partnerships and grow station revenue. The position reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Find and secure advertising clients, sponsorships and strategic commercial partnerships.
• Develop marketing plans to increase revenue, audience-facing business opportunities and market share.
• Prepare sales proposals, present advertising packages and negotiate agreements.
• Maintain client and agency relationships and promote the station’s programmes and events.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, meet sales targets and prepare performance reports.

Key performance measures

• Advertising revenue and achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
• New advertising agreements, sponsorships and partnerships.
• Customer retention, satisfaction and growth in the advertising portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and six to ten years of experience.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, networking, presentation and relationship-management skills.
