National Sales Manager at an Undisclosed Healthcare Company – Lagos

An undisclosed healthcare company is recruiting a full-time National Sales Manager in Lagos to drive pharmaceutical revenue, manage national sales teams and oversee activities in multiple Nigerian regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand healthcare market share across Nigeria.
• Lead, train and manage sales personnel and support achievement of individual and regional targets.
• Analyse customer trends, competitors and commercial opportunities, adjusting market plans as necessary.
• Maintain productive relationships with pharmaceutical distributors, healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders.
• Oversee sales operations in at least four to six geopolitical zones and monitor compliance with company policy.
• Report sales performance and recommendations to the Managing Director/CEO through the Commercial Lead.
• Manage commercial budgets, control expenditure and uphold pharmaceutical-sector regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline; a master’s degree or certification is advantageous.
• Eight to ten years’ pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least five years in a management position.
• Experience leading national or multi-region sales teams and working with key pharmaceutical market stakeholders.
• Strong commercial planning, analysis, leadership, negotiation and communication.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Nigeria.
