Night Manager via Domeo Resources International – Aba, Abia State

An undisclosed hotel employer is recruiting a full-time Night Manager in Aba, Abia State, through Domeo Resources International. The position is responsible for hotel operations during night shifts, ensuring guest service, staff supervision, security, financial accountability and a smooth morning handover.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front office and other hotel departments during night shifts, ensuring smooth service and operational coordination.
• Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, room assignments and the resolution of complaints and service requests.
• Review night-audit activities, billing, cash handling, transactions, revenue reconciliation and handover records.
• Monitor guest and staff safety, access controls, security patrols and incident reporting.
• Respond to operational emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, power failures and maintenance concerns.
• Supervise staff attendance, conduct, standards and departmental responsibilities throughout the shift.
• Monitor room occupancy, service quality, housekeeping, food and beverage coordination and facility condition.
• Prepare shift reports covering revenue, incidents, guest concerns, pending maintenance and operational issues.
• Conduct an accurate handover with the morning management team and ensure compliance with hotel procedures and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications and requirements

• OND, HND or a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Three to five years’ experience in hotel operations, front-office management, guest services or a similar hospitality role.
• Previous experience supervising night-shift hotel operations is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of front-office procedures, reservations, guest relations, night audits, cash handling and revenue reconciliation.
• Understanding of hotel security, emergency response and incident reporting.
• Familiarity with hotel property-management systems, point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, customer service, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality and readiness to work nights, weekends and public holidays when required.

Working conditions

The position is based in Aba, Abia State, and involves regular night-shift work, movement around the hotel to inspect services and facilities, and coordination with security, maintenance, front-office and other teams.
