Product Marketer at SunnyAxis Global – Lagos
SunnyAxis Global is recruiting a full-time Product Marketer in Lagos to expand awareness, distribution and sales of the company’s solar fans. The role combines market development, product promotions and commercial relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement sales and promotional strategies for the solar fan range.
- Plan advertising campaigns, product demonstrations and field promotions.
- Identify retailers, wholesalers, distributors, resellers and other prospective customers in major Lagos markets.
- Research buyer preferences, prices, competing products and market developments.
- Develop lasting relationships with market traders, distribution partners and commercial contacts.
- Find additional distribution opportunities and support the product’s entry into new markets.
- Monitor customer feedback, competitor offerings, promotional results and sales performance.
- Work with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Recommend adjustments to pricing, product positioning and marketing activities.
- Report on commercial activity, market coverage, customer feedback and product performance.
Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or a related discipline.
- One to three years of experience in product marketing, product management, consumer sales, brand promotion or a similar position.
- Experience promoting and selling consumer products, with familiarity with Lagos retail and commercial markets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, organisation, analysis and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities and translate them into practical plans for sales growth.
- Experience with solar products, electronics or home appliances is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Lagos for customer visits, product demonstrations and promotions.
Performance indicators
Results will be assessed through sales growth, market penetration, new distributor and retailer relationships, commercial targets, product visibility and customer satisfaction.
Salary
₦100,000–₦150,000 monthly.
