Field Sales Officer at LexMedical – Lagos

LexMedical is recruiting a full-time Field Sales Officer in Lagos for its Partnerships and Integrations department. The role involves field visits to private hospitals, clinics and specialist centres, prospect management and the activation of new healthcare partners. The Officer reports to the Head, Partnerships and Integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and visit potential healthcare partners and engage owners, administrators, medical directors and clinic managers.
• Present LexMedical’s digital healthcare offerings, understand client needs and qualify opportunities.
• Arrange follow-up meetings, product demonstrations, presentations and proposal discussions.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and move qualified leads towards onboarding and partner activation.
• Provide competitor and market feedback, record customer objections and escalate major integration opportunities.
• Support early partner utilisation and maintain relationships after activation.

Qualifications and competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Health or Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Zero to two years’ experience in field sales, business development or customer acquisition; healthcare experience is helpful but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to explain technology solutions to healthcare customers and maintain accurate CRM and spreadsheet records.
• Willingness to travel regularly within assigned sales territories and work towards targets.

Performance expectations

The role targets at least 20 institutional visits per month subject to the approved territory plan, with evidence of sales pipeline development by Day 60 and a credible progressing pipeline by Day 90. An initial 90-day review and continuing monthly and quarterly assessments apply.
