Relationship Manager – Merchant Acquisition at an Undisclosed Company via TeamAce Limited – Nigeria

An undisclosed company is hiring full-time Relationship Managers through TeamAce Limited across several Nigerian states to acquire merchants, manage commercial relationships and generate portfolio revenue.

Locations

• Abuja (FCT), Abia, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Rivers.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute merchant acquisition and sales plans for assigned territories.
• Identify, visit and onboard merchants; pitch services and negotiate business agreements.
• Build lasting merchant relationships, monitor satisfaction, retention and portfolio revenue.
• Meet monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets, and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Coordinate merchant onboarding with marketing, product and operations teams.
• Track performance, prepare accurate reports and improve sales strategies.

Requirements

• At least two years’ experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition or relationship management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, selling, organisation and relationship-management capabilities.
• Experience in fintech, transaction finance, payments or banking is advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications is an added advantage.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; analytical thinking, integrity and accountability.

Pay and benefits

• Gross monthly salary of ₦240,656; stated net salary is ₦203,408 after tax and pension deductions.
• Miscellaneous allowance of ₦50,000 during the three-month probation period and ₦100,000 after successful probation; stated monthly take-home after probation is ₦303,408.
• Commission at 3.5% of portfolio revenue, based on monthly performance, without a stated cap; high performers may earn up to eight times monthly salary in extra commissions.
• Employer-provided HMO, pension and PAYE tax provisions; stated pension contributions are 10% by the company and 8% by the employee.
• Miscellaneous allowance covers transport, airtime and data.
