Senior Finance Officer via JSK Consulting Group – Ikoyi, Lagos

A company is recruiting a full-time Senior Finance Officer in Ikoyi, Lagos, through JSK Consulting Group. The role manages financial reporting, reconciliations, budgets, statutory payroll deductions and accounting controls for outsourced client accounts. Working days are Monday to Friday.

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer to manage financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and payroll administration for outsourced client accounts.
• The ideal candidate must have strong financial management skills, knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, and experience handling payroll and statutory deductions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations, transactions, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and management accounts.
• Develop and monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasts.
• Manage payroll processing, including PAYE, pension, and other statutory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost control.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure proper financial controls.
• Manage financial records and reporting for outsourced client accounts.
• Prepare financial analysis and reports to support management decisions.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 4–5 years of relevant post-NYSC experience.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
• Proven experience in payroll management, including PAYE, pension, and statutory deductions.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Experience in an HR consulting, accounting, or outsourcing environment is an advantage.
