Accountant at White Soul Group – Maryland, Lagos and Calabar, Cross River

White Soul Group is recruiting a full-time Accountant for its operations in Maryland, Lagos, and Calabar, Cross River State. The role handles imprest accounting, cash reconciliations, invoices, client payments, Sage entries and statutory remittances.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of timely Imprest Report
• Verify that all payment requests are appropriately approved
• Ensure that all items paid for using the imprest are properly and accurately captured by the Report
• Keep supporting documents for all expenses paid for with imprest
• Ensure that the float does not run out before replenishment
• Reconciliation of the physical cash with the balance show in the imprest Report as anytime requested
• Ensuring that the company’s funds are not used for personal use
• Post the imprest expenses into Sage
• Prepare and submit clients’ invoices, following up to ensure prompt payments
• Reconcile all clients payments for accuracy
• Preparation of monthly productivity report
• Ensure timely remittance of statutory payments (VAT, PAYE, ETC)
• Any other responsibility as detailed in job description.

Requirements:

• Certification: Min of B.Sc Accounting or related fields. Additional certification is an added advantage
• Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in accounting

N200,000 – N250,000 per month.
