Sales Manager at Galaxy La-Palm Royal Resort – Port Harcourt
Galaxy La-Palm Royal Resort is recruiting a full-time Sales Manager in Port Harcourt to grow hotel revenue, build corporate relationships and secure hospitality business.
Key responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies and pursue agreed accommodation, events, dining and conference revenue targets.
- Attract corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, government bodies and other institutional customers.
- Build and maintain client relationships through sales visits, presentations and regular follow-up.
- Identify new markets, partnerships and commercial opportunities, including repeat business.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts and promotions in line with management policies.
- Track hospitality market trends and competitor activity to support business growth.
- Coordinate client delivery with reservations, front office, food and beverage and events teams.
- Provide sales reports, performance updates and revenue forecasts to management.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum five years’ relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Evidence of achieving targets and generating substantial sales revenue.
- Established corporate contacts and strong business-development relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication and customer-management skills.
