Senior Accountant at Ginos Ventures Limited – Abuja
Ginos Ventures Limited is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant in Abuja to oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance and financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate accounting records and monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers and accounts, and oversee receivables and payables.
- Handle payroll and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain tax and statutory compliance, including timely filing of deductions.
- Analyse financial performance and provide practical recommendations to management.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and monitor budgets and cash flow.
- Oversee accounting team members where applicable and improve financial systems and controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Five to seven years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
- ACA, ACCA, ICAN or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax rules, financial reporting and accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Integrity, attention to detail and residence in Abuja.
- Ability to drive is an added advantage.
