Waiter / Waitress at Café Chocolat – Abuja
Café Chocolat is recruiting a full-time Waiter / Waitress in Abuja. The position involves providing attentive table service, taking accurate orders and helping guests enjoy a welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, explain menus and daily specials, and respond to questions about food, ingredients and allergens.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, record modifications in the point-of-sale system and communicate dietary requests to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, check on guests during their visits and offer refills or additional menu items where appropriate.
- Handle concerns professionally and refer unresolved complaints to management.
- Clear and reset tables, restock service areas, and carry out opening and closing duties.
- Maintain a clean dining room and follow food safety, hygiene and health requirements.
- Coordinate with hosts, bartenders and kitchen colleagues to maintain smooth service during busy periods and buffets.
