Davina Hill Resort & Hotel is recruiting a full-time Bartender in Gwarinpa, Abuja to prepare and serve drinks, attend to guests, manage bar stock and maintain responsible service and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, welcoming guests, taking orders, maintaining cleanliness in the bar area, managing stock, and ensuring that guests receive excellent service throughout their visit.
• Welcome guests warmly and courteously upon arrival at the bar.
• Present beverage menus and provide accurate information about available drinks, prices, and special offers.
• Respond politely to guests’ questions and enquiries.
• Recommend beverages based on guests’ preferences when appropriate.
• Maintain a friendly, respectful, and professional attitude toward all guests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to hotel standards.
• Serve beverages promptly and correctly.
• Process bills and payments accurately where assigned and authorized.
• Clean and polish glassware, bar tools, equipment, and work surfaces regularly.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain clean waste areas.
• Ensure that beverages, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, napkins, and other bar supplies are available.
• Store alcoholic beverages and other supplies securely and appropriately.
• Avoid waste, misuse, or unauthorized removal of hotel property.
• Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely beverage delivery.
• Assist colleagues when necessary to ensure smooth bar and restaurant operations.
• Treat guests, colleagues, supervisors, and management with respect.
• Never disclose confidential guest or hotel information without authorization.
