Business Development Manager – HR Shared Services at Careers Verified – Abuja and Lagos

Careers Verified is recruiting two Business Development Managers – HR Shared Services for Abuja and Lagos. The managers will attract corporate clients and expand revenue from recruitment, workforce outsourcing, payroll and associated HR solutions.

Business growth and service sales

• Develop revenue strategies, research markets and acquire corporate customers for HR shared services.
• Generate prospects and convert enquiries into service agreements, long-term accounts and recurring revenue.
• Promote recruitment, workforce outsourcing, payroll administration, employee onboarding, background checks, HR advisory, performance management, training and engagement services.
• Create tailored proposals, presentations, price quotations and commercially suitable HR service packages.
• Negotiate approved service terms, payment conditions, SLAs and contracts.

Client management and execution

• Engage senior HR, operations, procurement and executive decision-makers and build durable client relationships.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities, coordinate account renewals and resolve service concerns.
• Analyse competitor offerings, market trends and opportunities across major industries.
• Manage CRM records, sales forecasts, targets, pipeline activities, conversion rates and weekly or monthly performance reporting.
• Coordinate with recruitment, payroll, HR operations, compliance and finance teams to make client onboarding and service handovers effective.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, Economics or a related field; a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification is advantageous.
• At least five years’ B2B business development, HR outsourcing, recruitment sales or account-management experience.
• Proven success winning corporate clients, negotiating contracts and securing high-value service agreements.
• Strong knowledge of workforce outsourcing, recruitment, payroll and HR administrative services.
• Effective proposals, commercial negotiation, CRM, reporting, leadership and client-relationship skills.

Compensation

• Monthly salary: ₦300,000–₦350,000.
