Cashier at Cedarose HR Consult – Asaba and Warri, Delta
Cedarose HR Consult is recruiting two full-time Cashiers for positions in Asaba and Warri, Delta State, to handle retail transactions and support customers.
Responsibilities
- Scan purchases and receive payments through cash, POS and electronic transfers.
- Verify prices and escalate pricing discrepancies to the supervisor or manager.
- Record customer loyalty points and explain the loyalty programme to new shoppers.
- Reconcile and remit cash as directed, and check transactions before issuing receipts.
- Pack purchases appropriately, assist with orderly customer queues and help prevent belongings being left at the till.
- Refer customer enquiries to the relevant supervisors and maintain courteous service.
- Keep positive customer relationships and carry out other assigned cashier duties.
Requirements
- HND, bachelor’s or master’s degree, with NYSC completion or exemption.
- At least one year of experience in a retail environment.
- Applicants must live in Asaba or Warri, Delta State.
- Female applicants aged 18–35 at the time of engagement are specified.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills.
