Responsibilities
- Develop recipes that reflect local Port Harcourt taste preferences.
- Experiment with local dishes for possible introduction to the menu.
- Train cooks and supervisors on newly introduced food products.
- Carry out ongoing market and competitor research.
- Observe and support product quality control at the branch.
- Collect information and track the performance of food products.
- Source ingredients through local Port Harcourt markets and assess their suitability for menu preparation.
Qualifications and experience
- SSCE, OND or HND qualification.
- Experience as a cook, caterer or chef, with knowledge of local cuisine.
- Residence in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
