Chef at The Place (Smackers Limited) – Yenagoa, Bayelsa
The Place (Smackers Limited) is recruiting a Chef in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The role calls for experience in an established buka or restaurant, knowledge of local Port Harcourt cuisine and the ability to source ingredients from local markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop recipes that reflect Port Harcourt taste preferences.
- Experiment with local Port Harcourt dishes for possible introduction to the menu.
- Train cooks and supervisors on newly introduced food products.
- Carry out ongoing market and competitor research.
- Monitor product quality at the branch.
- Collect data and track food-product performance.
Qualifications and experience
- SSCE, OND or HND qualification.
- Experience as a cook, caterer or chef in an existing buka or restaurant.
- Experience with local Benin cuisine.
- Residence in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
