Indian Cook / Chef de Partie at an Undisclosed Company via Ascentech Services Limited – Victoria Island, Lagos
Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting an Indian Cook / Chef de Partie for a restaurant on Victoria Island, Lagos. The chef will lead a kitchen station and prepare authentic Indian dishes during busy service periods.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the Tandoor, Curry or Appetiser station during daily preparation and service.
- Prepare traditional Indian dishes, gravies and breads in line with house recipes.
- Blend spices, prepare marinades and develop bulk curry bases.
- Maintain station hygiene and comply with food safety requirements.
- Supervise and support commis chefs with daily kitchen preparation.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience cooking Indian food in a commercial kitchen.
- Practical skill with Tandoor cooking or traditional Indian curry preparation.
- Ability to organise a kitchen station and work efficiently under pressure.
- Residence within convenient commuting distance of Victoria Island, Lagos.
