Customer Service Representative at GUO Transport – Kumasi, Ghana
GUO Transport Company Limited is recruiting a full-time Customer Service Representative for Sepe-dote, behind Akobalm, Kumasi, Ghana. Reporting to customer-service or branch management, the position handles enquiries, complaints, bookings and shipment-related customer support.
Responsibilities
- Respond to enquiries in person and through other communication channels, explaining transport, logistics, fares, schedules and delivery procedures.
- Record and resolve complaints promptly, escalating complex cases to the appropriate team.
- Assist with reservations, bookings, parcel enquiries and shipment tracking when required.
- Maintain accurate customer-service records, feedback logs and follow-up actions.
- Communicate delays and operational changes and coordinate across departments to resolve service concerns.
- Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements to the customer experience.
Qualifications and skills
- HND or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or a related discipline.
- Customer service, front desk or similar experience is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Igbo or Twi is an advantage.
- Strong customer focus, patience, conflict resolution, problem-solving and teamwork.
- Basic computer literacy, Microsoft Office skills, organisation and attention to detail.
