Diversity & Inclusion Lead at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) – Lagos

Pan-Atlantic University is recruiting a full-time Diversity & Inclusion Lead in Lagos to coordinate accessible and inclusive student services, academic accommodations and policy implementation across the University.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate initiatives that improve access to learning spaces, student services and university activities.
• Manage academic accommodation requests, documentation, implementation, communication and follow-up with relevant departments.
• Work with faculty, Student Affairs, counselling and health services to support appropriate and discreet adjustments.
• Help teams implement approved inclusion and accessibility policies consistently.
• Arrange training and support for academic and non-academic staff on inclusive teaching and student engagement.
• Build feedback, referral and escalation arrangements for accessibility, discrimination and participation concerns.
• Maintain activity records and report on accommodations, training, policy implementation and other inclusion measures.
• Engage with students from varied backgrounds, including students with disabilities, first-generation and international students and Francophone students.

Qualifications and requirements

• Fluency in French to support engagement with Francophone students, applicants and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, Project Management or a related discipline.
• At least four years of experience in grants management, donor-funded projects or research administration.
• Experience of proposals, donor reporting, grant compliance, budgets and partnership management.
• Knowledge of donor regulations and grant agreements, including cross-functional and multi-donor collaboration.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, with analytical, organisational, reporting, communication and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to manage several priorities with accuracy, integrity and accountability.
