Finance Chief via Fort Knox Outsourcing – Lagos

A Lagos-based organisation is recruiting a Finance Chief in Lagos through Fort Knox Outsourcing. The full-time Financial Control management role leads financial strategy, treasury, risk, compliance and reporting.

Finance strategy and governance

• Develop the Finance Department’s strategy and advise management on capital structure, financing and long-term investment decisions.
• Coordinate corporate budgets, financial resource allocation, controls, expenditure approvals and cost management.
• Oversee financial reporting, management information systems, business intelligence, budgets and business performance analysis.
• Assess financial, regulatory and operational risks and prepare recommendations for the Board and management.

Reporting, compliance and leadership

• Maintain financial policies, internal controls, accounting standards and compliance with Nigerian tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate statutory returns, tax remittances, audited financial statements and interaction with regulators and external auditors.
• Oversee relationships with financial institutions and other external stakeholders.
• Direct the Financial Control team and produce regular management and board reports.
• Monitor financial performance, reconciliation accuracy, MIS reliability and opportunities for cost savings.

Required capabilities

• Strong hands-on financial planning and analysis, accounting and financial management experience.
• Sound understanding of the Nigerian tax environment and mortgage banking operations.
• Experience with management reporting, regulatory obligations, financial institutions and strategic advice.
• Proven leadership, discretion, integrity, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong Excel or Microsoft Office, analytical, presentation and financial-reporting capabilities.

Compensation

• Net monthly pay: ₦1,298,468.
