Fraud Desk Analyst at Flutterwave – Lekki

Flutterwave is hiring a Fraud Desk Analyst in Lekki, Lagos, to monitor transactions, investigate suspicious activity and help protect payment users.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payments and fraud alerts in real time for unusual or suspicious transactions.
• Investigate flagged accounts and transactions and take action under established fraud policies.
• Escalate complex or high-risk investigations to senior analysts and relevant teams.
• Record case findings clearly and keep investigation histories accurate.
• Respond to fraud questions from merchants, customers and internal teams.
• Identify recurring fraud methods and suggest improvements to detection processes.
• Prepare case and activity reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and one to two years of relevant experience in fraud, risk, payment operations or transaction monitoring.
• Strong analytical judgement, careful decision-making and attention to detail.
• Availability for weekend and night shifts in a round-the-clock operation.
• Clear written and spoken communication and ability to cooperate across teams.
• Adaptability, sound time management and confidence working in a fast-changing payments environment.
