Graphic Designer, Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer at Athena Institute of Business and Technology – Remote

Athena Institute of Business and Technology is recruiting a full-time, remote Graphic Designer, Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer for visual communications, campaigns and multimedia production.

Responsibilities

• Design brand-consistent graphics for social media, websites, presentations, advertising and print.
• Edit footage into polished promotional, corporate and short-form videos with appropriate audio, captions and colour treatment.
• Create motion graphics, animated titles, logo reveals, transitions and explainer animations.
• Translate briefs into storyboards, layouts, visuals and effective narratives.
• Manage creative files, review feedback, meet deadlines and maintain copyright and brand compliance.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications and content teams across projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in design, media, film, communications or a related discipline; equivalent portfolio-backed skills may be considered.
• Three to five years’ experience in graphics, video editing, motion graphics or related work.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design, edited videos and animation.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects or equivalent software.
• Knowledge of typography, composition, branding, editing, colour, audio, formats and export settings.
• Creativity, project organisation, communication and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Blender, 3D animation, photography or AI-supported creative tools is advantageous.
