Head of Quality Control at TQ Farms Nigeria Limited – Ijebu North, Ogun

TQ Farms Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Head of Quality Control for its agricultural operations in Ijebu North, Ogun State. The role leads quality control across farm, poultry, feed milling and processing activities.

Working days: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor quality procedures, standards, inspection schedules and checklists for farms, feed milling and processing.
• Inspect incoming feed ingredients, medicines, packaging and other raw materials against specifications; take samples, commission or perform laboratory tests and record results.
• Monitor finished feed, eggs, poultry and processed products through production, storage and dispatch; accept or reject non-conforming materials.
• Enforce hygiene, sanitation, food safety and biosecurity requirements; check storage conditions, temperature, moisture, pests, mould and expiry dates.
• Support compliance with NAFDAC, SON and other applicable standards, and prepare for inspections and audits.
• Work with veterinary and farming teams on bird health and drug withdrawal periods; investigate complaints and contamination incidents and implement corrective action.
• Assess suppliers and deliveries, verify purchase specifications and improve processes to reduce waste and rejects.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, train quality staff, manage traceability records and deliver quality reports to management.

Requirements

• HND or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Chemistry or a related subject.
• Five to six years’ experience in quality control or assurance in poultry, livestock, feed milling or agro-processing, including supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of feed mill QC, poultry or farm operations, or agro-processing.
• Understanding of sampling, laboratory testing, HACCP, GMP, NAFDAC and SON requirements.
• Experience testing feed, eggs, poultry or other agricultural products and maintaining accurate quality records.
• Strong investigation, analysis, decision-making, leadership, reporting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and office tools; ability to manage multiple operating sites independently.
• Quality management or food safety certification is an advantage.

Salary

₦400,000–₦500,000 gross per month.
