Internal Audit Officer at Mikano International Limited – Port Harcourt
Mikano International Limited is recruiting a full-time Internal Audit Officer for its Audit Department in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role supports internal controls, compliance, financial reporting and risk management. Monthly salary is ₦250,000–₦300,000, with other benefits.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out internal audits across business departments, documenting findings.
- Review financial records, operations and adherence to relevant regulations.
- Identify control weaknesses, assess risks and recommend corrective measures.
- Track the implementation of audit recommendations and outstanding actions.
- Support improvements in governance, risk management and internal control systems.
- Prepare detailed reports and present audit findings to senior management.
- Maintain professional standards and ethical conduct during audit work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Three to five years’ experience in auditing, risk management or internal control.
- Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
