Logistics / Materials Officer at JC International – Port Harcourt, Rivers
JC International is seeking a Logistics / Materials Officer in Port Harcourt to coordinate personnel movements, project materials, equipment, journeys and logistics records.
Responsibilities
- Organise mobilisation and demobilisation of project and training personnel, equipment and materials.
- Plan the availability and movement of tools and stock needed for operations.
- Coordinate journey management, including routes, vehicle allocation, driver schedules, approvals and tracking.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, freight forwarders, transport providers and regulators.
- Track logistics schedules, resolve delivery issues and maintain records of inventory movements and material issues.
- Monitor stock requirements, support replenishment and prepare management reports.
- Maintain compliance with company, client and relevant regulatory requirements and support the Logistics, Mobilisation and Materials Coordinator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least four years’ relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, fleet coordination, operations or materials management.
- Knowledge of fleet logistics, journey management and coordinating multiple priorities.
- Experience in oil and gas, engineering, inspection or industrial services is an advantage.
