General Manager via JV Management Consulting – Allen, Ikeja

JV Management Consulting is seeking a full-time General Manager in Allen, Ikeja, Lagos, to lead travel and tourism business operations, financial performance, service delivery and growth.

Business strategy and operations

• Develop business strategies, operating plans, priorities, service standards and departmental performance objectives.
• Oversee daily travel and tourism operations, including reservations, ticketing, sales, marketing, administration and customer service.
• Ensure accurate and timely flight, tour, hotel and related travel arrangements, and establish effective procedures.
• Find efficiency improvements, control operating costs and monitor departmental service delivery.

Finance, business development and leadership

• Set and track revenue targets, budgets, cash flow, profitability and financial performance with the finance team.
• Develop partnerships, corporate accounts, travel packages and new business opportunities, and build relationships with airlines, hotels and clients.
• Manage departmental leaders and employees through clear targets, recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and staff development.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints, monitor satisfaction and retention, and strengthen service quality.
• Oversee compliance, risk controls, record-keeping and regular management reports and KPIs.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant management, operations or leadership experience; travel, tourism, hospitality or service-business experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated strategic leadership, financial and budget management, decision-making, sales growth and team supervision.
• Strong communication, negotiation, reporting, Microsoft Office, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• A master’s degree or professional management certification is advantageous.

Salary and benefits

• ₦500,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
