Managing Director – Skyscape Facility Management Limited (Zylus Group) – Lagos

Skyscape Facility Management Limited is recruiting a Managing Director in Lagos, in the Zylus Group business context. The executive will lead strategic growth, facility services, client relationships, financial performance and organisational governance.

Strategic and operational leadership

• Define and execute business strategy, growth objectives, market expansion and new partnerships.
• Lead facility management operations, oversee service standards and improve efficiency.
• Monitor service quality across managed properties and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Identify commercial opportunities and pursue sustainable profitability.

Commercial and financial responsibilities

• Lead customer acquisition and retention and maintain relationships with clients, landlords and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate substantial contracts and service agreements while protecting service quality.
• Own budgets, financial planning, revenue performance and cost management.
• Prepare financial and operational reporting for the Board.

People leadership and governance

• Guide senior managers and employees, develop succession plans and support talent development.
• Build a performance-focused culture with clear accountability.
• Maintain compliance with Nigerian labour, statutory, regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage organisational risk and represent the business in appropriate industry and regulatory engagements.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Estate Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Ten to fifteen years of relevant experience, including at least five years in a senior management or leadership role.
• Proven leadership of a facility management, property or related services business, with business development, client retention and high-value contract experience.
• Experience owning budgets and profit-and-loss performance and leading a senior management team.
• Knowledge of facility management standards, safety, HSE, commercial management, labour regulations and governance.
• Strong strategy execution, negotiation, financial, people leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• An MBA, relevant postgraduate qualification or facility-management professional certification is advantageous; group-company and Board-reporting experience is also desirable.
