Operations Associate at Chowdeck – Benin, Edo (Hybrid)
Chowdeck is recruiting an Operations Associate for its strategy and operations team in Benin, Edo State. The hybrid position supports the day-to-day performance of delivery riders, food vendors and agents within an assigned zone. Working hours may vary, including shifts outside a conventional office schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor operational dashboards and communication channels, prioritising issues and routing requests to the appropriate teams.
- Support the onboarding, training, scheduling and routine performance checks of riders, vendors and agents.
- Resolve order exceptions, follow up on outstanding operational matters and escalate sensitive issues to the Assistant Zonal Manager.
- Coordinate zonal assets and other operational resources with local management.
- Identify process improvements and assist the Assistant Zonal Manager with their implementation.
Requirements
- A university degree with First Class or Second Class Upper Division (2:1) honours.
- Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgement in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear communication with colleagues, vendors, riders and agents.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing tasks.
- Resilience, eagerness to learn and willingness to work demanding or variable hours.
