Registrar at Edo State College of Nursing Sciences – Benin City, Edo State
Edo State College of Nursing Sciences is inviting applications for the position of Registrar in Benin City, Edo State. The college seeks an experienced higher-education administrator with a strong record of leadership and institutional management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a Master’s degree in any discipline, together with at least 15 years of administrative experience.
- Postgraduate degree or relevant professional qualification; membership of relevant professional body or bodies recognised by the Federal Government.
- Current appointment at Deputy Registrar rank for not less than three years in a higher institution of learning.
- NYSC discharge certificate and proficiency in ICT tools and packages.
- Not more than 65 years of age on the date the position becomes vacant.
- Demonstrable leadership, initiative, creativity in administrative policy, interpersonal and management skills.
- Knowledge of Public Service Rules and regulations applicable to the college system.
- Integrity, sound character, impartiality and freedom from financial embarrassment.
- Physical and mental fitness, evidenced by certification from a government hospital.

- Names and addresses of three referees (employer, educational and personal).
Ask your three referees to send confidential reports directly to the Registrar. They should be able to attest to your academic and management capabilities and integrity.
Submit your documents in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Application for the Post of Registrar" in the top left-hand corner.
