Sales Manager at Pioneer Foodzone Co Limited – Ikeja, Lagos
Pioneer Foodzone Co Limited is recruiting a full-time Sales Manager in Ikeja, Lagos, for immediate resumption. The role reports to management and leads commercial growth across the company’s snacks and packaged-food business.
Sales strategy and market growth
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, volume and market-share targets.
- Identify new territories, trade channels and opportunities for distributing the company’s products.
- Recruit, support and monitor distributors, wholesalers, retailers and institutional customers.
- Strengthen customer and trade relationships, negotiating commercial arrangements within company policy.
- Study competitor pricing, consumer demand and product performance through regular market visits.
Team leadership and reporting
- Supervise field sales personnel, set individual targets and coach the team on effective execution.
- Monitor orders, customer accounts, distribution coverage, stock movement and sales productivity.
- Coordinate with operations and other departments to support product availability and deliveries.
- Respond to customer concerns and develop approaches that improve repeat business.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports and market intelligence for management.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of relevant sales experience, preferably in FMCG, food production or product distribution.
- Proven success in sales-target delivery, distributor management, territory development and customer acquisition.
- Prior experience leading sales representatives, with a strong understanding of Lagos trade networks.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, reporting and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales-reporting tools; readiness for regular field assignments.
Remuneration and benefits
Monthly salary is ₦250,000–₦350,000. Staff meals, performance incentives and other applicable company benefits are offered.
