Store Executive at Sun King (formerly Greenlight Planet) – Anyigba, Kogi
Sun King (formerly Greenlight Planet) is recruiting a full-time Store Executive in Anyigba, Kogi State. The role is responsible for meeting store performance targets through effective inventory control, reporting, basic repairs and customer support.
Responsibilities
Inventory management
- Receive stock from the warehouse and keep accurate records of inventory.
- Manage stock issuance in line with FIFO standards and dispatch stock as required.
- Maintain and update stock cards, off-the-shelf sales records, and online goods-received and goods-issued logs.
- Carry out daily cycle counts and monthly stocktakes.
- Receive faulty stock returned from the field, consolidate items for disposal, and manage spare-parts inventory and reorders.
Reporting
- Prepare daily on-hand stock reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Report daily stock issued for replacement or replenishment.
Repairs and spare-parts management
- Keep custody of repair tools and tool kits.
- Carry out basic checks on faulty units before replacement.
- Perform basic repairs on in-warranty returns.
Store management and customer support
- Keep the store tidy and arrange the shop floor by SKU.
- Maintain a neat repair workbench and observe safety procedures to prevent hazards.
- Welcome walk-in customers and provide assistance.
- Receive faulty components, identify technical issues and verify warranty eligibility through the required checks.
- Assist Energy Officers and coordinate with the Call Centre to resolve customer queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution in a relevant field.
- At least two years’ hands-on experience in a related role.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Knowledge of Sun King products is an advantage.
- High integrity, a proactive and positive attitude, and a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility.
- Report-writing experience.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy, including working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Knowledge of the local territory is an advantage.
