Sales and Offtake Officer at an Undisclosed Company via Sisa Method Limited – Kogi

An undisclosed employer is recruiting a full-time Sales and Offtake Officer in Kogi State through Sisa Method Limited for the Ajaokuta Mini-LNG Project. The position will build technically feasible, credit-screened customer demand before first gas.

The project is a planned 7 MMscfd mini-LNG facility. Site works are under way, and equipment manufactured in China is in sea transit. First gas is targeted for April 2027, subject to project readiness and approvals. Before commissioning, the role will focus on presales, customer education, demand qualification, site readiness and conditional agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a CRM-based prospect pipeline organised by customer sector, location, expected volume, price sensitivity and credit status.
• Qualify potential buyers through structured discussions about existing fuels, usage patterns, access to sites and buying decisions.
• Prepare customer quotations and commercial proposals using approved pricing and contract templates.
• Support letters of intent, memoranda of understanding and conditional offtake agreements with legally reviewed terms.
• Coordinate customer-site surveys and maintain site and customer readiness checklists.
• Track weekly sales pipelines and monthly volume forecasts, collaborating with Finance on credit checks and payment security.
• Work with Logistics and Operations to establish customer onboarding packs, ordering workflows and delivery processes.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in gas, energy, fuels or industrial supply.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing commercial sales pipelines.
• Ability to develop credible proposals and explain technical product offerings accurately.
• Understanding of customer credit assessment and basic commercial contract terms.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and project sites.
