Tax Manager at Dangote Industries Limited – Lagos

Dangote Industries Limited is recruiting a Tax Manager in Lagos to oversee taxation strategy, compliance and reporting for Dangote Cement Plc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns and ensure timely payment of federal and state taxes.
• Design compliant tax-planning strategies and resolve taxation issues affecting the business.
• Manage tax audits, investigations, assessments, queries and objections.
• Review tax computations, accounting, reporting, transfer pricing and related-party transactions.
• Assess tax implications of contracts and commercial transactions and recommend tax-efficient structures.
• Conduct periodic tax health checks, maintain adequate controls, monitor new legislation and advise management.
• Guide internal stakeholders on tax compliance and supervise tax-team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or a related subject, plus ACA, ACCA or another professional accounting qualification.
• At least ten years’ relevant experience, including corporate and indirect taxation, transfer pricing and tax administration.
• Ability to handle audits and regulatory enquiries, with SAP, Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills; Big Four experience is an advantage.
