Internal Control Officer at an Undisclosed Financial Services Organisation via TeamAce – Victoria Island
A financial-services organisation is recruiting a full-time Internal Control Officer in Victoria Island, Lagos, through TeamAce Limited. The position focuses on banking controls, fraud prevention, risk monitoring and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review control processes and carry out risk assessments and control tests across banking operations.
- Monitor transactions for irregularities, compliance gaps and possible fraud.
- Maintain control-exception registers, risk logs and corrective-action follow-up.
- Monitor compliance with organisational policies, CBN regulations and applicable banking requirements.
- Support internal and external audits and provide management reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in internal controls, risk management or audit, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of CBN rules, microfinance operations, credit, operational, fraud and regulatory risks.
- Experience with transaction review, risk assessments and audit follow-up.
- ACA, ACAMS, CIA, CRMA or similar certification is an advantage.
Salary
₦350,000–₦450,000 per month.
