Distributor Partner Specialist at Red Bull – Port Harcourt, Rivers
Red Bull is recruiting a Distributor Partner Specialist in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to help distribution partners meet agreed sales, distribution and trade-marketing targets. The role combines commercial planning, partner coaching, field execution and performance reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support distributor partners and the line manager in developing trade-marketing plans, a commercial annex and performance goals.
- Train partner teams in product knowledge, Perfect Store standards, channel execution, selling and negotiation skills.
- Monitor agreed KPIs, identify distribution gaps and implement corrective action plans with partner sales management.
- Visit outlets regularly to assess execution, coach sales teams and review Perfect Store and promotional activity.
- Coordinate and assess the Trade Marketing Calendar, promotions and commercial agreements.
- Prepare and lead monthly partner performance reviews using distributor scorecards.
- Plan and oversee point-of-sale materials, stock handling, in-market cooler activity and other trade assets.
- Monitor distributor distribution, sales, depletion, stock-flow, customer and cooler reports against brand requirements.
- Provide market intelligence, business insights and accurate internal performance reports.
- Build productive relationships and motivate partner sales teams through recognition and sharing good practices.
Performance expectations
Implement distributor routines and trade-marketing plans, meet agreed business objectives, deliver timely reports and communicate risks and opportunities clearly. The role requires approximately 70% of working time in the field with the distributor’s sales force and 30% on planning, meetings and reporting.
Requirements
- University degree.
- At least five years of sales experience in consumer goods, preferably beverages.
- Strong business acumen, analytical ability and a record of operational delivery.
- Negotiation, influence, communication, presentation, coaching and training skills.
- Ability to implement trade-marketing plans independently and stay organised.
- Knowledge of Port Harcourt and nearby cities’ open-market and off-trade environments.
- Competence with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and standard online tools; fluency in English.
