Internal Audit Officer at Avetium Outsourcing Limited – Lagos
Avetium Outsourcing Limited is recruiting an Internal Audit Officer for a contract position in Lagos. The officer will oversee risk-based audit activity and support effective financial and operational controls.
Responsibilities
- Assess material business and financial risks and recommend appropriate controls.
- Prepare and deliver the annual internal audit plan, including assigned audits and resource management.
- Review internal audit policies and procedures against applicable professional practices.
- Lead operational and financial audits and investigate emerging or reported risks.
- Provide clear, accurate audit findings to management and relevant risk committees.
Requirements
- Degree in Internal Auditing, Financial Accounting or Financial Management.
- Two years of experience in an internal audit function, supported by sound accounting knowledge.
- Strong analytical judgement, problem-solving ability and careful documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and collaborate effectively.
- Good IT, written communication and interpersonal skills.
