Inventory Officer at an Undisclosed Company via Skache Integrated – Gbagada

A business in engineering and procurement is recruiting a full-time Inventory Officer in Gbagada, Lagos, through Skache Integrated Services Limited. The position combines materials purchasing with inventory oversight.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and keep engineering tools, materials, equipment and spares available as required.
• Source supplies, assess vendors, negotiate purchasing terms and prepare purchase orders.
• Follow up on orders, inspect incoming deliveries and verify quantities and specifications.
• Maintain stock movement, vendor and purchasing records, including physical stock counts and reconciliations.
• Manage shortages, overstocking and waste while coordinating with engineering, operations, finance and warehouse teams.
• Follow procurement procedures and inventory control requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related subject.
• Two to four years’ experience in procurement and inventory operations, ideally in engineering, construction or technical work.
• Knowledge of stock controls, purchasing, supplier negotiation, Excel and inventory software.
• Integrity, communication, strong documentation and analytical skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
