Medical Sonographer / Radiographer at Cellulose Medical Diagnostics – Abuja

Cellulose Medical Diagnostics is hiring a full-time Medical Sonographer / Radiographer in Mabushi, Abuja. The position manages diagnostic ultrasound and radiography services, maintains the equipment and supports accurate, professional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures and carry out radiographic and sonographic examinations.
• Operate the relevant ultrasound, X-ray and other diagnostic equipment, with familiarity in ECG and mammography equipment.
• Select suitable equipment and techniques for each examination and maintain high standards of professional conduct.
• Manage imaging information using radiology and hospital information systems.
• Maintain and strengthen imaging quality-control and quality-assurance arrangements.
• Keep equipment in good condition, organise routine maintenance and monitor supplies.
• Maintain issue logs, maintenance records, expiry registers and stock records.
• Work with the Consultant Radiologist, customer care and business development colleagues, under the Medical Director’s direction.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and complete relevant assigned work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography.
• Two to five years of experience following NYSC.
• Valid practising licence from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.
• A master’s degree is an advantage.
• Strong computer literacy and interpersonal skills, including independent work, teamwork, communication, initiative and customer service.
