Restaurant Manager at a Hospitality Company – Lagos
A hospitality company is recruiting a full-time Restaurant Manager in Lagos to lead daily restaurant operations, guest experience, workforce performance and cost control.
Restaurant operations and guest service
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, reservations, seating and dining-room readiness.
- Coordinate the kitchen and service teams to maintain food presentation, service speed, cleanliness and ambience.
- Handle guests’ requests and complaints and improve service quality and customer retention.
- Prepare staff rosters, conduct briefings, train and assess employees, and manage discipline.
Financial controls and safety
- Track sales and revenue targets, budgets, stocks, food and beverage costs, wastage and profitability.
- Ensure accurate billing, payment processing, reconciliations and inventory coordination.
- Maintain food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety standards and follow up on equipment issues.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least four years of restaurant experience including management or supervisory responsibility.
- Previous restaurant management or supervision in hospitality is mandatory.
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems, inventory controls, food and beverage standards and guest relations.
- Demonstrated team leadership, cost control, communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills.
Monthly salary: ₦350,000–₦400,000 (negotiable).
