Business Development Officer – B2B Distribution via Top Talents Consulting – Lagos

An undisclosed B2B distributor is recruiting a Business Development Officer through Top Talents Consulting in Lagos. The hybrid schedule combines home-based prospecting and follow-up with field visits to veterinary clinics, grooming salons and pet retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• On Mondays, research target business customers, update prospect lists, make initial calls and book sales appointments from home.
• Visit designated Lagos territories from Tuesday to Thursday, introduce products and build wholesale relationships with veterinary clinics, grooming businesses and pet shops.
• On Fridays, follow up prospects and samples, close bulk orders and submit sales reports remotely.
• Expand distribution through the employer’s minimum-order-quantity model and maintain productive B2B relationships.

Requirements

• Proven field-sales or pharmaceutical/medical sales-representative experience, including B2B customer acquisition.
• Good prospecting, communication, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Willingness to undertake substantial field sales across Lagos and work independently.
• Strong attention to targets and consistent customer follow-up.

Employment Details

Monthly remuneration totals ₦150,000, comprising ₦110,000 base pay and a fixed ₦40,000 transport and data allowance. Successful cash-backed B2B wholesale orders attract an additional 2.5% commission.
